He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Piatt and Charlotte Piatt (Karns); his wife Mary Piatt (McCoy); and his siblings, Gladys Carter, Betty Roberts and Elmer Lance.
He is survived by: his sons, Joe McCoy (Crystal), Chad Piatt (Amber) and Charles Piatt (Alisha); and his sister Pat Heilman. He is also survived by numerous grandkids and great grandkids.
