It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Xan Michael Smith of Lockland, Ohio, born in Marietta, Ohio, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, John Smith and Jane Anne Wenzel Smith of Marietta; his siblings, Geoffrey Smith of Lockland, OH and Stefanie Smith (Ty); his nieces and nephews, Celan O'Dell (Paige) of Parkersburg, WV, Demetrie, Elias Smith, Arianna and Olivia Smith; his aunt Shelley West; his uncles, Roy "Buzz" Wenzel (Ginny), Marty Wenzel (Marilyn), Tom Wenzel (Myrna) and Kyle Wenzel; his great-aunts, Nancy Wenzel of Crystal Lake, IL and Sophia Morris of Sylvania, OH; his close friend Joe Caltrider of Marietta; and his friend David Eck. He is also survived by many cousins and other friends.
