He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Moore and Willie Belle Moore (Jordan); his wife Delores F. Moore; and his siblings, Herma Jean Godfrey, Margaret Lozier, Hazel Garrett, Helen Wollin, Gladys Moore, Charles Vernon Moore and Willie B. Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Richard "Rick" Moore Jr., Amy VanBlarcume (Jimmy) and Susan Grandstaff (Tony); his grandchildren, Dustin (Tiff), Tyler VanBlarcume (Tiffany) and Jerica; his stepgrandchildren, Destiny and Caden Grandstaff; his great grandchildren, Dalton VanBlarcume and Brynlee Miller; and his close friend Geneva Burton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
