She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Bryant Anderson and Henry Herbert Bryant; her former husband John Kozman; her husband Gerald Brown; her grandson Patrick Fox; and her siblings, John, Richard Bryant, Mary Riley and Marjorie Wolfe.

She is survived by: her children, David J. Kozman (Helen) and Nancy Fox (Peter); her grandchildren, Coleen Newkirk (Jim), David P. Kozman (Stephanie), Elizabeth Granja (Eduardo), Christina Mason (Chris) and Mary Pierce (Mike); her great grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas, Mallory Kozman, Eduardo, Marcos, Sebastian Granja and Pierce; her sister Julia Lutz Weaver; and her sister-in-law ZeZe Bryant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

At family's request, Betty's funeral mass will be private due to COVID concerns.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to an animal rescue shelter (she loved her cats) or to a charity of your choice.
