He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto Perez and Vicenta Perez (Rosa Llaneza Perez); his children, Vicki Perez Speakman, Alberto "Bertin" Perez and Jorge Perez; and his daughter-in-law Idania Ruiz.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa; his sons, Orlando Ruiz, Luis Perez (Denise "DeeDee") and Miguel "Mikey" Perez (Yianni Vitellas); his son-in-law Mike Speakman; his grandchildren, Christina Ruiz (Jon Carlaw), Danny Ruiz, Katie Speakman (Joy Taylor), Travis Speakman (Kian Weaver), Louie Perez (Anne), Anthony Perez (Alex) and Nicolas (Josie); and his great grandchildren, Manny Perez and Aiden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
