He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Meeks and Rose Meeks of Marietta; his stepparents, Lossie Meeks and Vance Griffin; his brother John; his sister-in-law Linda Meeks; and his mother-in-law Betty Brant.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his sons, Michael of Belpre, Craig of Chesapeake, VA and Alex of Ithaca, NY.; his sister Tina Meeks-Crooks (Alan); his aunt Lottie Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Brant, Eric Brant, John Brant (Robin), Jim Brant (Angie), Becky Wallace, Martha McMurray and Teresa Roberts (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
