We bid farewell to Dianne Lynn Kerns of Little Hocking, Ohio, born in Elizabeth, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 19, 2024 at the age of 74. Dianne Lynn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen K. Wiseman (Baker) and Kenneth Carr Wiseman; her husband Roger Kerns; her sister Donna Wilson; her brother-in-law Dwain Wilson; her brother Thomas Wiseman; and her nieces, Mary Beth Wiseman and Sara Ann Jenkins.
She is survived by: her niece Jennifer; her children, Bryan Sims (Karen) and Stephanie McCandless (Kristin); her former husband Bob Sims; her stepchildren, Laurie, Roger (Jodi), Jared (Desiree) and Zack; her grandchildren, Caleb Sims, Alex Sims, Tres Fracasso, Dalton Fracasso, Gavin Stalnaker, Briah Kerns, Brody Kerns, Cody Kerns, Collin Kerns and Ivy Kerns; and her siblings, Sharon Lynch (Roger), Brenda Pearson (Dave), Loretta Stewart (Dale), Larry Wiseman (Sheryl Jo) and Robert Wiseman (Marie). She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Dianne in a special way may make a donation in her honor to St Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) or the Humane Society of Parkersburg (hsop.org). She would also encourage you to donate blood, as she was an avid donor and part of the "Nifty 50" Club for giving more than 50 pints of blood to the American Red Cross.
