She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin E. Whitlatch and Betty L. Smith Whitlatch; her brother Dick Whitlatch; her nephew Ricky Whitlatch; and her close friend Joan Smith.
She is survived by: her son Chris; her husband Donald E. Dye; her son Charles "Chaz" Dye (Chris McBee) of Williamstown, WV; her sister Jo Ann Newbanks of Boaz, WV; her nephews, Chris, Brian, Phil Newbanks and Robbie Whitlatch; her close friends, Janet Allen and Jane Haverty; and her pets, Pretty Boy, Gray Kitty, Butter, Bailey, Bentley and Molly.
