With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Millard Meloy of Lithopolis, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on October 8, 2020 at the age of 62. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Millard Meloy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Meloy and Patricia Meloy (Herderick); and his brother William "Bill" Meloy. He is survived by: his wife Rita Meloy; his sons, Shannon Meloy (Elizabeth) of Charleston, SC and Shaun Meloy (Amy); his stepson Tony Hewitt (Kara); his grandchildren, Noah, Helena Meloy, Caden, Madison Meloy, Camron, Brooklynn, Aiden and Zoey Hewitt; and his sisters, Sue Miller (Robert) and Pam (Jim). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Masks are required in the church and social distancing must be observed.
He started singing with the Firm Foundation, then onto Spirit Wings, then started the group Cornerstone Gospel which he kept going for over 25 years.
