He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Ewell and Helen Ewell; his wife Wanda "Tommie" Ewell; his son Lonnie Myles Ewell; and his siblings, Betsy Robohm (Bob) and Richard Ewell (Sherryn).
He is survived by: his sister Melissa Hall (Robert); his children, Donald Ewell Jr (Jennifer), Beth Morrissette (Kevin) and Ronald Ewell (Sharon); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Morrissette, Richard Morrissette, Hunter Ewell, Brett Ewell and Laura Ewell. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
