He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmit Ward and Mary Augusta Ward (McCallister); his siblings, Martha Mitchell, James Ward, Charles Ward and Janet Hodgkins; his son Robert Kincaid Ward; and his granddaughter Sasha L. Burtze.
He is survived by: his children, Karen M. Turcotte (Robert) of East Sparta, OH, Roy Ward (Janet) of Snow Camp, NC, Gail L. Allen (Ron) of Pleasant Garden, NC and Dianne L. Greenberg (Stuart) of Clearwater. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
