He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan Francis and George W. Simpkins Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Goodwin, Peg Simpkins (Marlene Maylo), Marcia Herriott (Roger), Joan Mercer, Beth Grisez and George W. Simpkins III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
