It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dalton Sr. of Litchfield, Ohio, born in Bluefield, Virginia, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dalton and Kathleen Dalton (Whitaker); and his brothers, Willard Dalton, Curtis Dalton and Claude Dalton.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Jay Dalton (April) of Lodi, Lori Chenevare Southgate of Michigan, Renee Boyle (Brian) of Spencer, James Dalton (Nancy) of Litchfield and Chad Neavill of Big Prairie; and his siblings, Lucy Lawson of Annapolis, Arlene, Randy Dalton (Sandy) of Middletown, DE and Doug Dalton (Becky) of Tazewell, VA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
