She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Stephens and Nellie Stephens; and her son Cory Michael. She is survived by: her husband Tim Chaplin; her children, James Chaplin and Emily Chaplin; her brother Larry Stephens (Theresa); her nephew Larry Stephens Jr. (Tammy); and her niece Starla Young.

The family suggests donations in Gail's name will be graciously accepted by the Medina Battered Woman's Shelter, 120 W. Washington St., Medina, Ohio 44256.
