He was predeceased by: his parents, John Minor and Velma "Peg" Minor (Morris); and his brother John Minor. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie K. Minor (Witherow); his daughters, Crystal Minor and Brenda Lawson (Mike); his brother Tom Minor (Carol); his sister-in-law Mary Witherow; his grandchildren, Kyler Woodward, Andrea Dowling (Joe), Allyson Woodward and Tyler Minor; and his great grandchildren, Jadyn, Beckett, Jordyn, Jaxyn, Wyatt and Joseph. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
