She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Kent and Iva Kent (Brewer); her husband Alva Thornhill; her siblings, Walter, Floyd, Carl, Stanley, Howard, Raymond Kent, Lillian Baker and Dorothy Baker; and her granddaughter Kristi Jo Smith.
She is survived by: her close friend Robert McDannels of Lisbon; her children, Virginia Mitchell (John Franklin) of Lisbon, April Lozier (Shannon) of Versailles, Indiana and Keith Thornhill of Florida; and her brother Bill Kent (Loretta) of Centerburg, Ohio. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
