With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Joy (Lisbon, Ohio), born in Salem, Ohio, who passed away on September 13, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Joy and Marie Joy (Pugh); and his siblings, Merle, Glen, Duane Joy and Elaine Joy.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Joy (Almy); his children, Rick Joy (Alice) of Lisbon, Kimberly Hobbs (Albert) of Salem, Christy McGrantham (Scot-Allyn) of Charleston, S. Carolina, Elizabeth "Lisa" Richards of Salineville and Jessica Richards of Wellsville; and his siblings, Darlene Matheny (Harry) of Salem, Gerald Joy (Betty) of Salineville, Tim Joy (Donna) of Salem, Gary Joy (Judy) of Columbiana, Terry Joy (Renee) of Salem and Gale Joy (Tammy) of Dayton. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
