He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Bettis and Lucille Bettis (Allmon); and his brothers, J. Warren Bettis and Robert A. Bettis. He is survived by: his wife Kay Williams; his children, Marsha Landfried (Jim) of Lisbon and John Bettis (Gina) of Lisbon; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah Frantz (Alicia), Anna Madison (Justin) and Linda Laughlin (Scott). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
