John Hammitt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hammitt of Lisbon, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Courtney Hammitt and Catherine Hammitt (Brannan); his daughter Kelly Nold; and his siblings, Clark Hammitt, Camilla Bloomquest and Joann Hartwig.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hammitt (Gordon); his children, Tracy Vazquez (Mike) of Tega Cay and Scott Hammitt (Linda) of Gastonia; his son-in-law Daniel O. Nold of Lisbon; and his grandsons, Jacob Hammitt (Sarah), Nathan Hammitt (Alyson) and Jonathon Hammitt (Courtney).
