It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Glenn Sr. (Lisbon, Ohio), born in Stratton, Ohio, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" and Elizabeth Glenn (Dillon); his siblings, Harry Glenn, Harriett Johnson and Marion Lynn; and his grandson Dan Glenn.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Glenn (Mankin); his children, Katheryn Craig (Skip) of Lisbon, John Glenn, Jr. (Rebecca) of Lisbon and Bruce Glenn (Cindy) of Damascus; his sisters, Carolyn Halverstadt (Adrian) of Leetonia, Jane Barkley (Larry) of Weirton, WV and Jean Dillon (Bill) of Virginia Beach; and his sister-in-law Diana Glenn of Lisbon.
In lieu of other remembrances, the family suggest memorial contribution be made in John's memory to the Church at the Center, P.O. Box 799, Salem, Ohio 44460.
