He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Danko and Geraldine Hartman Danko; his siblings, Sherri Lynn Danko, Debbie Campbell and Anthony Danko; and his brothers-in-law, Nick Pachell and Kenneth Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Schaeffer Danko; his children, James R. Danko, Jr. of New Castle, Anthony Danko (Mandy) of Lisbon, Joshua Danko (Ellen) of Salem and Nicole Davis (Devon) of Leetonia; his sisters, Kathy Hogan (Mike) of Boardman, Toni Pachell of Austintown and Wendy Danko of Salem; and his grandchildren, Aubrey, Kendall and Stella Danko.
