He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred G. Rose and Helen Rose (Strudthoff); and his brothers, Glen and Dean Rose. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Smith of Lisbon and Kevin Rose of Grand Rapids, Michigan; his brother David Rose (Inez) of Lisbon; his grandchildren, Mary Rose (Buckius) and Zakary Smith; and his great grandchild Emersyn Rose Buckius. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home (215 W Lincoln Way, Lisbon, OH 44432).
