Florence Mae Grate Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Mae Grate of Lisbon, Ohio, born in Salem, Ohio, who passed away on September 13, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Rea and Stella Rea (Vincent); her husband Charles Grate of Lisbon; her son Wayne Grate; her son-in-law Stan King; and her brother Bob Rea.

She is survived by: her children, Sam Grate (Debbie) of Salem, Kenny Grate (Sheila) of Millersburg, Ohio, Beth Suchy (Chuck) of Salem and Ruth Ann Carey (Dana) of Mogadore, Ohio; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Heath of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Valarie Willams (Dominic), Angela Heim (Matt), Rachelle Betz (Ryan), Zach King (Michaela), Sheresa Grate, Shanae Gudmunson (Kyle), Shane Grate (Krista), Tyler Grate (Noelle) and Adam Grate (Michaela); her great grandchildren, Caroline Williams, Zane, Levi Betz, Remi Gudmunson, Isaiah Grate, Peter and Aaron Grate; and her siblings, Ernie Rea (Carole), Lowell Rea, Edna Slate and Wanda Blyer (Bruce). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
