He is survived by: his children, Lee Atkinson of Kingsport, Tenn, Cathy Leis (Dave) of Darlington, Jill Mann (Stan) of Beaver and John Atkinson of Salem; and his stepchildren, Dave Gatchel of Leetonia, Barbara Warren of Lisbon and Elizabeth Stamp of Salem.
