He is survived by: his wife Karin Ruth Muir (Avery); his daughters, Lena VanHorn (David) of Palmer, TN and Sarah Rosenfelt (Thomas) of Lebanon, TN; and his siblings, Kay Stoops of Hudson, OH and Timothy Muir (Ginny) of Simpsonville, SC.
