He is survived by: his parent Mabel Faulk Foster; his wife Joann Stewart; his children, Jeff Foster (Michelle) of Lisbon, Gary Foster (Josie) of Girard, Jim Foster (Marylou) of Salem and Julie McMillan (Bill) of Columbiana; his siblings, Harry Foster (Virginia) of East Palestine, Larry "Butch" Foster (Karen) of East Palestine, Clarence "Tex" Foster of East Palestine, James Foster (Becky) of East Palestine, Mary Jane Bock (Fred) of Salem and Hannah Paine of North Carolina; his siblings-in-law, Willard Foster and Geraldine "Gerry" Foster; his grandchildren, Greg (Megan), Doug Krista (Jessica), Lindsey and Ashley; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Gabriella and Maria. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
