It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna Beagle of Lisbon, Ohio, born in Griffithsville, West Virginia, who passed away on June 19, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roma Hale and Goldie Hale (Stowers); her husband Donald Owen "Pete" Beagle; her sisters, Dortha Burnside and Alcie Johnson; her son-in-law Howard "Howdy" Kent; and her close friend Carl Elkins.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Kent of Germantown, OH, Danny R. Beagle (Maryann) of Pittsburgh, PA and Eddie Beagle of Lisbon, OH.; and her grandchildren, Brandon, Megan, Myra, Casey, Lisa, Jimmy, Jeffrey, Danny, Kelly and Sean. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In compliance with Ohio state regulations and in connection to the COVID-19 public health crisis, visitation with proper social distancing, will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 1PM – 3PM at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home in Calcutta.
