He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Scherer and Evelyn Scherer (Burgess); his wife Roxanne Heschel; his children, Joshua Scherer of Willington, SC, Cory Scherer (Allison) and Courtney (Tim); his grandchildren, Bella Feighner, Jaylee Scherer, Adelynne Feighner, Layla and Alanna Scherer; and his brothers, Troy of Columbus, Todd (Bobbette) of Columbus and Jason Scherer of Columbus.
