He was predeceased by: his parents, George Beatty and Phyllis Beatty; and his sister Carolyn Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beatty; his son Edward Walton Beatty Jr. (Paula); his granddaughter Maria Mae Beatty; and his sisters, Georgianna Ruff, Phyllis Brunson (Jeff) and Arlene Stratton. He is also survived by eight brothers-in-law, seven sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, coworkers, and childhood friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's name to St. Simon of Cyrene Episcopal Church.
