She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernell Howton and Mildred Howton (Ward); her daughter Sonya Lynn Howton; her brothers, Robert "Bobby" Howton and Michael D. Ward; her grandson Drayton Johnson; and her stepfather Jimmie Lee Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Felicia Forrest (Dave) of Lima, Chalonda Howton of Canal Winchester, Ollice Howton Sr. (Patricia) of Hinesville, GA. and Steve Howton (Elizabeth) of Ft Wayne, IN.; her grandchildren, Brooks Howton, Andrea Amerson and Antione Amerson; her siblings, Betty Howton and Brian Ward; her close friends, Roy Johnson and Sharon Kizer; and also Dennis Ward (LaVonne).
Memeorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's. As was her wish, Wilma was cremated, and there will be no interment of cremated remains.
