We bid farewell to William J. Staup (Lima, Ohio), born in Ada, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 4, 2024 at the age of 78. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Merlin and Margaret Corrinne Staup, Sr. (Stockler); his siblings, Emerson (Bud), John, Carl, Tom, Tim Staup, Peg Crow and Kay Ansley; his nieces and nephews, Mary Newland (Crow), Patricia Brigner (Staup), Gary, David, Ronald Staup and Brad Ansley; his great-nieces, Elizabeth Honroth, Zoe and Chloe Watts; his friend Warren Fisher; and his great-great nephew Lincoln Dean Crow.
He is survived by his siblings, Robert Staup, Sr. (Carolyn Underwood), Michael Staup, Sr. (Janet Spafford), Carol Shaw and Sue Lutz; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Crow (Betty Taylor), Peggy Staup, Joan Staup, Nancy Staup, Denise Morrison and Cheryl Siegmann.
