She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Berryhill and Gertrude Berryhill (Ayers); her stepfather Lloyd Carr; her husband Robert "Bob" Placie; her sisters, Wanda Kinkle Winters and Virginia Routson; her granddaughter Liza Jenkins Sackinger; and her son-in-law Michael Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Jenkins of Cridersville, Robert "Bob" Placie (Tammy) of Lima, William "Bill" Placie (Kathy) of Lima and John "Jack" Placie (Cherie) of Indianapolis; and her sister Joanne Hemenway of Gomer. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
