He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Vernon and Mary Cecilia Wilson (Miller); his brothers, Phillip Wilson, Daniel Wilson and Gregory "Cosmo" Wilson; and his brother-in-law Don Borkowski.

He is survived by: his wife Kristie Wilson (Roby) of Elida; his stepdaughters, Katie Geer (Jason) of Lima and Leigh Moore of Reynoldsburg; his grandson Donavan Moore of Elida; his great grandchildren, Rhyan Moore and Grayson Moore; his sisters, Jeanne Borkowski, Kathleen Swaney, Miriam Birkemeier (Everett), Joan Maitlen (James) and Beth Pohlman (Kenn); and his siblings-in-law, Sue Wilson, Valerie Biederman (Glen) and Bob Roby (Kelley). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
