He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon T. Wilkins and Esther Wilkins (Gottschalk); his son Michael L. Wilkins (Diana); his brothers, Jim Wilkins, Bob Wilkins (JoAnn), Richard Wilkins, Melvin Wilkins, Max Shrider, Martin Wilkins, Ora Wilkins and Orville Wilkins; and his brother-in-law Clair Huntsman.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Wilkins (Starr) of Lima; his sons, Mark A. Wilkins (Robin) of Hagerstown, IN and Stephen L. Wilkins of Lima; his grandchildren, Matthew A. Reynolds (Jennifer) of Wapakoneta, Stephanie L. Carolus, Nick S. Wilkins of Greenwood, IN, Cassondra B. Wilkins of Lima and Kyle T. Wilkins (Lydia) of Lima; and his sister Emilie J. Huntsman. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
