It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Wyman Hill (Lima, Ohio), who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hill and Goldie Hill; his siblings, John Jr., Wendell, Alan Hill, Marian Butler and Garnet Rodeheffer; and his children-in-law, Chris Perry Hill and Howard Sherer.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie; his children, Gary Hill (Starlah Bartlett-Hamilton), Wendell Hill (Ann), Tom Hill (Kyra) and Joy Sherer-Ratliff (Jeff); his grandchildren, Alex, Zach and Aaron Hill; his children, Andrew, Amanda, Austin Hill, Emily, Jordan, Justin, Lilly, Lauren Hill, Garrison and Laci Sherer; his stepgrandchildren, Conor and Will Ratliff; his grandchildren, Shayne Walkup and Shannon Walkup-Pancake; and his close friend Jean Mack.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Open Door Baptist Church or Lochaven Assisted Living Bingo Fund.
