She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Naumburg and Emily Sawyer Naumburg; her former husband Harold William Brooks; and her husband James Arthur Shingledecker. She is survived by: her children, Harold William Brooks, Jr. (Katie) of Goldsboro, NC, Becky Retherford (Terry) of Odessa, TX, Debbie Veshinfsky (Joe) of Catasauqua, PA, Brenda Brooks-White of Orange, TX, David Brooks (Susie) of Lancaster, CA, Steven J. Brooks of Bowling Green, KY, Bill Shingledecker (Marieka) of Lima, OH and Barbra McVicker (Larry) of Lima, OH; and her stepchildren, Jimmy, Lisa, Vicki and Dorothy. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
