It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Jane Davis of Lima, Ohio, who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sampson and Mathilda Sampson; and her siblings, Jean Young, Thelma Houser, Bernard Sampson, James Sampson and George Sampson.

She is survived by: her husband Clayton Davis; her stepchildren, Kevin Davis (Maria) of Slidell, Louisiana, Sheila Metz (Rodney) of Wapakoneta, Cheryl Bechtel (Robert) of Indian Lake and Denise Gahman (Steve) of Dublin, Ohio; her siblings, Albert Sampson (Cathy) of Dublin, Merle Sampson of North Carolina and Tillie Washburn of Saint Marys; and her grandchildren, Traber Giardina, Blair Ellinwood, AJ Davis, John Clay Davis, Ericka Bechtel, Ryan Bechtel, Taylor Bechtel, Carol Ann Payne, Alison Entinghe, Luke Gahman and Michael Gahman. She is also survived by 12 Great grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
