With solemn reverence, we commemorate Shirley A. McLaughlin (Lima, Ohio), whose life came to an end on January 29, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Painter and Dortha Painter (Grant); her husband William F. McLaughlin; her son-in-law Curtis Treece; and her siblings, Barbara Johnson (Dewey), William Painter, Jack Painter, Richard Painter and Delores Rhoades (Walt).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Starr, Julie Treece and Keith McLaughlin; her grandchildren, Kaitlynn Parker (Edward), Michael Starr (Nicole Meeker) and Megan Starr (Kile Simpson); her great grandchildren, Boston Starr, Keigan Simpson and Emma Parker; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Painter and Nancy Eagy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (3000 Harding Hwy, Lima, OH 45804).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lima Rescue Mission or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
