He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry John and Patricia Diehl (Dahill); his girlfriend Dionne; and his siblings, Rex Diehl, John Diehl, Janis Leppla and Ray Diehl.
He is survived by: his children, Dewayne Diehl (Aimee) of Los Vegas, Brittney Diehl (Dustin), Tricia Diehl-Wright (Bill) and Krysti Green of Lima; his grandchildren, Hayley Diehl, Kiara Diehl, Kinsley Barnhill and Kaelyn Barnhill; his sisters, Barbara Patterson of Lima, Peggy Stawarski (Alan) of Lima and Doris DeCamp (Tom) of Lima; and the mother of his children Terri Boyles of Lima. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Bayliff & Son Funeral Home via family pay to help pay for services.
