He was predeceased by: his parents, James Samuel Jones and Odessia Jewel Jones (Dickerson); and his siblings, Samuel James Jones and Mary Ann Merritt (Jones). He is survived by: his brother David Lee Jones; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Jones (Roane).

Memorial donations are suggested to be made payable to National Kidney Foundation of Ohio and can be given at the funeral home.
