Scales (Nellie) of Lima; and his siblings, Jocelyn D. White (Clarence) of Lima, Kelli L. Scales of Lima, Dana K. Scales (Reggie) of Lima, Melanie D. Ulmer (Timothy) of Willingboro, NJ, Charles D. Scales Sr. of Lima and Thomas A. Scales of Lima. He is also survived by seven nieces, eight nephews, thirteen great-nieces, and fourteen great-nephews, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
