He was predeceased by: his mother Wanda G. Tippie (Hefner); his son Todd Tippie; his grandson Cory Tippie; and his sisters, Hazel Boroff (Bodie) and Elizabeth Gladwell (Bob).
He is survived by: his father Rev. Ralph Tippie; his spouse Shirley J. Tippie (Baker); his children, Lewis Tippie (Jackie Young) of Sawyer, MI, Ronnie Tippie (Shelia) of Lima, OH, Barbie Tippie (Melissa) of Cincinnati, OH, Tammy Ball (Eric) of Waynesfield, OH and Becky Woods of Lima, OH; and his siblings, Ralph Tippie (Kathy) of Wapakoneta, OH, Roger Tippie of Lima, OH and Irene Hunt (Roy) of Lima, OH.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
