He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Bentz and Rita Bentz (Forche); and his daughter Cindy Loescher. He is survived by: his children, Scott Bentz (Alison) of Lima and Jodi Baker (Bud) of Spencerville; his grandchildren, Justin Bentz, Jeremy Loescher, Jacob Loescher, Jenna Loescher, Brandon Joseph, Cassie Plaugher, Leah Joseph, Dylan Bentz, Cain Bentz and Kobe Bentz; his great grandchildren, Masie, Saphaira, Freya, Layla, Braxton, Braelynn, Aeris and Jade; his wife Becky Ellerbrock; and his siblings, Steve Bentz (Deanna) of Arizona and Carol Pugh of Arizona.
