He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry M. Jones and Grace E. Jones (McVicker); his wife Nona Eileen Jones (Mullenhour); his sons, Henry Michael "Mike" Jones and Woodrow W. Jones; his siblings, Henry Jones, Jr., Robert Jones, Kathleen Miller and Janice Hicks; and his brother-in-law William Musto.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald E. Jones, Jr. (Ardella) of Lima, Steven W. Jones (Mary Lou) of Lima, Joseph A. Jones (Mary) of Lima, Deborah I. Thompson (Eugene) of Lima, Tamara S. Hern (Randall) of Lima, Rebekah A. Shulaw (Steve) of Lima and Charity L. Sandlin (Conrad) of Wapakoneta; his daughter-in-law Katheleen Jones of Columbus Grove; and his sister Patricia Musto of Lima. He is also survived by his thirty-three grandchildren, sixty great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
