He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred C. Thompson and Betty J. Thompson (Rodney); his spouse Rexine K. Thompson (Niebel); his children, Melissa Bowman (Kevin) of Lima, OH, Bridgette Niebel (Jon) of Knoxville, TN, Amanda Trempert (Chad) of Rockwall, TX, Kelley Lacey (Kevin) of Springfield, OH, Karen Robey of Elmore, OH and Susan Serenari (Chris) of Kyle, TX; his grandchildren, Kaelin, Derrick (Shaye), Braden Bowman, Lucas, Gabriel, Lucy Niebel, James, Brooks Trempert, Ashley, Marin Butler, Madden, Makenna Witt, Addison and Koen Serenari; his great grandchildren, Braxton Klingler and Arlo Bowman; his siblings, Charles Lynn Thompson (Paula) of Crossville, TN, Debbie Glazer (Jeff) of Lima, OH and Susan Collins (Richard) of Lima, OH.; his siblings-in-law, Ron Niebel (Carol) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Priscilla Hawk (Joe) of Glen Carbon, IL and Kathy Niebel of Lima, OH.; his brother Gregory Steven Thompson; and his brother-in-law Steve Niebel.
