He is survived by: his father Virgil Zimmerman; his children, Roger Zimmerman, Jr., Joeretta Zimmerman (Douglas Pitts), Amber Steele (Anthony), David Zimmerman and Neveah Emmons; his grandchildren, Lucas Zimmerman-Steele, Traci Steele, Jacqueline Steele, Preston Steele, Jimmy Sturgeon and Jamarre Sturgeon; his brothers, David Zimmerman and Donald Zimmerman; and his pet Cat. He is also survived by his family and friends.
