He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Stapleton and Minnie Mae Stapleton; and his son-in-law Darwin LaDale Fuqua. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Stapleton (Leedy) of Lima, OH; his children, Melissa Fuqua, Robert Jason Stapleton (Nichole), Shauna Durr (Kristopher) and Samantha Stapleton; his grandchildren, Gillian West (Erin), Brianna Fuqua, Austin Stapleton (Aubrey), Alexis Stapleton, Keenan Stapleton, Jasmine Jones, Jaylen Jones, Kacia Luna and Chico Luna; and his great grandchildren, Maxwell West, Jackson Stapleton, Ivory Stapleton, Legend West, Evie West and Keonna Stapleton. He is also survived by six siblings.
