Robert L. Golliher, age 86 of Lima, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 12:50 pm, at The Springs of Lima.
He was born November 4, 1937, in Rockwood, TN, to Carl and Ona (Cottrel) Golliher who preceded him in death.
Surviving are his daughter, Robin (Mark) Raesky of Lima; granddaughter, Heather (Perry) Beko of Roanoke, IN, grandson, Jacob Raeskey of Lima, 3 great-grandchildren, Avery, Addison and Paul Beko; and his sister, Linda Jean (Francis-dec'd) Wreede of Lima.
He is preceded in death by a son, Marvin Lee Golliher, and the following siblings: Lawrence Golliher, Kenneth Golliher, Earl Golliher, Marvin Golliher, Judy Griffith, Bernice Joseph and two infant siblings who passed at birth.
Robert retired in 1982 from the U.S.P.S. as a letter carrier after 23 years. He was a past president and a 55-year member of the N.A.L.C. He enjoyed playing horseshoes in Florida where he lived for many years. He was a former member of F.O.E. Aerie #370. He was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds, O.S.U. Football and watching boxing on television on Friday night. He was a graduate of Lima Senior High School.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
