He was predeceased by: his parent Dorlia J. Hicks (Hodge); and his brother Billy Hicks. He is survived by: his father Carl G. Hicks; his children, Christopher L. Hicks of Lima, OH, Jessica Hicks of Bellevue, OH and Jonathan S. Hicks of Flat Rock, OH; his grandchildren, Orion, Cam and Evan; and his brothers, Robert Hicks (Hyong Suk) of Petersburg, MI and Micky Hicks of Bowling Green, OH..
