He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Werner G. Braun and Helen M. Braun (Gast); his wife Lori Braun (Rosendale); his children, Gregory Braun (Dee) of Columbus Grove, OH and Tina Sandler (Kevin) of Saint Marys, OH; his grandchildren, Austin Braun (Jyn Veras), Rhiannon Sandler and Nicholas Sandler; his brother Bob Braun (Paula) of Lima, OH; and his children, Lonnie Rettig of Harrod, Mike Wang of Lima, Ryan Hefner of Ottawa and Pamela Truex of Lima. He was also cherished by brother, numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Restoration Temple.
